CREA-TAPP

The tapping device for precise threads

Cut precise threads. Protect your tools. Work more efficiently.

With the CREA-TAPP tapping device you cut threads quickly, precisely and perfectly square. The powerful compressed-air motor cuts threads from M3 to M12 reliably, while the ball-bearing guide takes up the resulting torque in full. The result: clean threads, a considerably longer tool life for your taps and noticeably less strain on the operator.

Thanks to its generous working radius of 800 mm and its flexible mounting options, the CREA-TAPP fits into almost any workshop without difficulty. A compressed-air connection is all it takes to start working efficiently and with full process reliability.

Whether for one-offs or series production – the CREA-TAPP tapping machine delivers reproducible results, reduces tool wear and increases productivity on every thread. The ideal solution for metalworking businesses, metal fabrication shops and manufacturers that value quality, cost-efficiency and ergonomic working.

CREA-TAPP in action

The tapping device for precise threads

Key facts at a glance

Precise threads – every time

The ball-bearing guide ensures perfectly perpendicular threads and absorbs the torque completely. The result is clean threads and consistently high quality with no effort at all.

Less tool wear

The optimum power transmission is gentle on taps, reduces tool breakage and considerably extends the tool life of the cutting tools.

Fast setting up and easy tool changing

Thanks to the quick-change coupling and intuitive operation, you can change tools in a matter of seconds and reduce setup times to a minimum. The stroke is 360 mm and the balance is set with the pressure reducer.

Flexible at almost any workstation

Whether on a workbench with a 500mm pedestal, a welding or hole-grid table (16/28 mm system), the CREA-DRILL multifunctional drilling centre, a pillar drilling machine or a wall mount – the CREA-TAPP adapts to your workshop. The machine mount is universal, too: electric tapping machines or drills can be fitted just as easily.

Ergonomic, comfortable working

The fixture takes up the weight and the torque of the motor. The generous working radius of 800 mm makes for comfortable, fatigue-free work and lets you swing the CREA-TAPP easily into the required tapping position.

Robust and versatile

The durable compressed-air motor cuts or forms threads from M3 to M12 and offers clockwise and anticlockwise rotation with push-pull control. On request we also supply compressed-air motors with push-button reversing for blind holes up to thread size M16. The so-called “Bilz holders” have an integrated slip clutch. Ideal for daily use in professional metalworking.

FAQ CREA-TAPP

We offer optional compressed-air motors with push-button reversing for thread sizes up to M16.

Yes, but you will need a compressed-air motor with special tool holders. The so-called “Bilz holders” have an integrated slip clutch.

The compressed-air motors have an air consumption of approx. 430l/min. Make sure that the supply lines have adequate cross-sections. The principle is the same as with a water supply: at the point of use, always step down from larger diameters to smaller ones. Use lines with an inside diameter of under 10 mm.

Yes – thanks to the pneumatic cylinder, other motor units can also be attached to the CREA-TAPP.
