CREA-STAR
The railing welding jig
Produce railings faster, weld more efficiently and save valuable working time.
Insert the balusters, set the spacing, weld – with the patented CREA-STAR welding jig, railings can be welded and produced far faster and fully reproducibly. The CREA-STAR suits a wide range of applications: from stair and balcony railings through window grilles to fences. Wherever even bar spacing is required, it supports precise and efficient work.
The well-thought-out design noticeably reduces the workload: spacings do not have to be calculated, cumulative errors are ruled out and many operations can be carried out by a single person. The railing can be turned directly in the fixture and welded from every side.
The result is precise, uniform components with less time and manpower – a clear advantage in day-to-day production.

CREA-STAR in action
The railing welding jig
Key facts at a glance
Fast setup without calculations
No calculating, no spacers, no packing pieces: the CREA-STAR railing jig can be set for many types of railing. The arms for the top and bottom rail are adjustable, so the balusters always sit centrally – held firmly in the rotary plates.
Patented scissor system for exact spacings
The mechanical calculator: the pitch is set with the help of the patented scissor system. The bar spacings between the bars are identical, cumulative errors are ruled out. Work preparation is reduced to a minimum. One universal template for one-offs as well as for series.
Several operations in a single setup
The bars stay clamped throughout the entire process. The component can be turned and welded from all sides – without re-clamping and without a second pair of hands.
Universal and flexible in use
Railings for stairs and balconies, window grilles or fences: the CREA-STAR railing jig is the fixture for every component that requires bar spacing. Special solutions for long elements and for fence construction are available.
High efficiency in time and cost
Reduced work preparation, fewer ancillary tasks and optimised workflows lead to significantly shorter production times – up to 50 % faster.
Precise results and expandable solutions
Distortion-free working, even spacings and clean results with no rework. Special versions are also available, e.g. for the efficient production of aluminium or plastic fences.

FAQ CREA-STAR
The scissor system was designed so that as many different railings as possible can be produced on it. With the centre spacing of 120 mm on raked railings, the design limit is reached.
There are special arms for larger railings. Please get in touch with us.
A deviation of max. 2 mm lies within the manufacturing tolerance of the railing. If the deviation is larger, the scissor system should be serviced in accordance with the operating instructions or a service should be carried out.
Once the three clamping screws on the support rail have been released, the U-profile can be turned. This makes the support surface large enough to take handrails up to 42 mm without any problem. For even larger support surfaces, the standard brass angle can also be exchanged for an L-profile.
No, the scissor system is protected by a special heat-resistant plastic cover. The chassis has a heat-resistant paint finish. This design has proven itself over the past 20 years.
No, the railing welding jig is worthwhile precisely for individual railings with differing spacings and pitches. That is where the Swiss patent shows all of its advantages.
